Description
Description: A renamed subculture of the rat gliomal line 1A2(R) – 93040129. A15 is tumourigenic in BDIX rats.

Morphology:
Growth Medium: DMEM + 2mM Glutamine + 15% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS).
Subculturing Procedure: Split sub-confluent cultures (70-80%) 1:50 to 1:100 i.e. seeding at 2-4×10,000 cells/cm² flask using 0.25% trypsin/EDTA; 10-15% CO2; 37°C. Cells can reach up to 4×1,0,000 cells per 25cm² flask.
