The Chromium X is 10x Genomics’ most advanced and flexible single-cell instrument, designed for high throughput, automated, and scalable analysis of complex biological systems. It enables deep insights into gene expression, chromatin accessibility, and immune profiling— at unprecedented resolution. This instrument, housed in CMRI’s Single Cell Analytics Facility (SCAF) features:

  • Flexible Sample Input (fresh, frozen or fixed samples).

Our flexible assay options support a wide range of sample types and research applications—from gene expression to immune profiling and epigenomics. Assays include:

Sample and Project Optimisation

Our experienced team works closely with researchers to design and optimise single cell workflows that deliver meaningful results. Whether you’re exploring known questions or uncovering new ones, we’re here to guide you every step of the way.

We support a wide variety of sample types using both single cell and single nuclei approaches, including:

  • Fresh and frozen tissue
  • Fixed cells
  • Cell lines (Custom culture services are available from CellBank Australia)

  • PBMCs
  • Immune cells.

To ensure the highest quality data, we provide access to curated kits and protocols for optimal sample preparation. Our services include:

  • Custom cell culture through CellBank Australia if fresh samples are required
  • Tissue nuclei isolation
  • Dead cell removal to improve sample viability and data quality.

Full service from cell samples to sequencing

CellBank Australia can prepare your cell samples for the for the complete single cell service. We can accept and process frozen vials or growing cultures. You may wish to consider using our other cell line services in combination with the CMRI Single Cell Analytics Facility services.

The Single Cell Analytic Facility at Children’s Medical Research Institute (CMRI) is highly experienced in 10x Genomics single cell solutions and can offer the array of assays for researchers.

Sequencing. We prepare your samples for sequencing and send  directly for sequencing to your preferred sequencing company or return samples for your own arrangements.
