CellBank Australia has 54 cell lines that are unique to its collection. All have been developed by research scientists of Australia and New Zealand:

- Six mouse malignant mesothelioma cell lines
- Four human malignant mesothelioma cell lines
- Eight human colorectal carcinoma cell lines
- Four human Merkel carcinoma cell lines
- Twenty seven human metastatic melanoma cell line, and
- One spontaneously immortalised rat Müller cell line
- One leiomyosarcoma cell line
- Two HeLa derivatives, stably expressing H2B cell lines.
