Description
Description: CAT-MT is a feline mammary carcinoma cell line derived from a highly malignant tubular adenocarcinoma. CAT-MT cells are tumourigenic in athymic mice.

Growth Properties: Adherent
Morphology: mixed population of polygonal cells
Growth Medium: EMEM (EBSS) + 2mM Glutamine + 10% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS).
Subculturing Procedure: Split sub-confluent cultures (70-80%) seed new cultures at 2-4×10,000 cells/cm² using 0.05% trypsin or trypsin/EDTA; 5% CO2; 37°C.
