Description
Description: Derived from a 7 month female Wistar-Furth rat. GH3 cells produce growth hormone faster than the GH1 cell line and also produce prolactin. Hydrocortisone stimulates growth hormone production and inhibits prolactin production. Studies have shown that cells are capable of adaptation to suspension culture using MEM.
