Description
Description: The hybridoma cell line HA cl. 55 was produced by fusing myeloma cells with spleen cells derived from BALB/c mice immunised with purified measles virus. Immunofluorescence studies showed intracellular and membrane fluorescence with a diffuse pattern. The monoclonal antibody precipitates haemagglutinin polypeptide and neutralises measles virus infectivity. Biological assays showed haemagglutinin inhibition activity.
