Description
Description: From the heart of a normal immature male Iguana. Cells can support the replication of herpes simplex, PRV, vaccinia and Iguana viruses at 36°C. The only reported reptilian line to be established and serially propagated at an incubation temperature as high as 36°C.

Subculturing Procedure: Split sub-confluent cultures (70-80%) 1:2 to 1:3 i.e. seeding at 3-4×10, 000 cells/cm² using 0.25% trypsin or trypsin/EDTA; 5% CO2; 36°C.
