Description

Description: Derived by cloning from a parent line produced from normal mouse embryo tissue (C57B1/KaLw). The cells have spontaneously transformed in vitro. The cells are negative for polyoma virus infection but are susceptible to the virus.

Subculturing Procedure: Split sub-confluent cultures (70-80%) 1:2 to 1:6 i.e. seeding at 2-4×10000 cells/cm² using mechanical methods to dislodge the cells (e.g. scraping); 5% CO2; 37°C.
