Description
Description: Adapted to culture from a spontaneous BALB/c mouse lymphoid tumour. Thought to be of B lymphocyte origin. Resistant to dextran sulphate. Produces isoenzyme and is capable of antibody-dependent lysis of sheep erythrocytes and tumour targets.

Growth Medium: RPMI 1640 + 2mM Glutamine + 10% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS).
Subculturing Procedure: These cells behave as per an attached cell line hence split sub-confluent cultures (70-80%); i.e. seeding at 2-4 x 10000 cells/cm² ; 5% CO2; 37°C. Detach cells by aspirating or gentle shaking.
