Growth Medium: Iscoves Modified Dulbeccos Medium (IMDM) + 2mM glutamine + 25 U/ml Interleukin-6 (IL-6) + 5-10% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS). Where the cells are grown under static conditions, 0.02% EDTA maybe required to dislodge them from the plastic.
Subculturing Procedure: Seed cultures between 1-3 x 100,000 cells/ml; Saturation density 8-10 x 100,000 cells/ml. 5% CO2; 37°C.
