Description
Description: Derived from an Abelson virus induced tumour in a BALB/c mouse. The cells express Mac-1 but not Ia and are not phagocytic.

Growth Medium: DMEM + 2mM Glutamine + 0.05mM 2-Mercaptoethanol (2ME) + 10% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS).
Subculturing Procedure: Maintain cultures between 1×100,000 to 1×1000, 000 cells/ml. Adherent cells can be dislodged by scraping and re-established by centrifugation and subsequent resuspension; 5% CO2; 37°C.
