Description: A highly metastatic, anaplastic, androgen-independent sub-line which spontaneously developed during the serial passage of the non-metastatic, well-differentiated, androgen-responsive R-3327-H sub-lines in the laboratory of Dr J Schalken, Nijmegan, The Netherlands.

Subculturing Procedure: Split sub-confluent cultures (70-80%) 1:10 i.e. seeding at 2-4×10,000 cells/cm² using 0.25% trypsin/EDTA; 5% CO2; 37°C.
