Description
Description: An 8-bromodeoxyuridine resistant mutant of mouse L cell fibroblasts (Mouse strain C3H/An). B82 lacks thymidine kinase and was isolated by virtue of resistance to 8-bromodeoxyuridine (30 µg/ml). ECACC has two catalogue entries for the B82 cell line which differ in that they were deposited by different groups: B82 (ECACC catalogue number 85011408) and B82(Hamprecht) (ECACC catalogue number 08062522). Several other cell lines in the ECACC catalogue have been derived from B82(Hamprecht).
