Description
Description: Established from a cervical carcinoma of a 41 year old Caucasian female. Cells form stratified, epithelial colonies and retain properties of squamous cell differentiation in long term culture. They are morphologically and cytogenetically distinct from C-4 II (ECACC catalogue no. 88102701). Reported to contain human papilloma virus (Am. J. Pathol. 119:361-366). Handle as potentially biohazardous material.
