Description
Description: Established from normal lung tissue of a 35 year old Caucasian male who died of a class 1-2 astrocytoma. The donor who was maintained for organ transplantation prior to removal of the lung. The cells will undergo a further 11 doublings.

Subculturing Procedure: Split sub-confluent cultures (70-80%) 1:2 to 1:3 i.e. seeding at 2-5×10000 cells/cm² using 0.25% trypsin or trypsin/EDTA; 5% CO2; 37°C.
