Description: Derived from pleural fluid of an adult female with primary carcinoma of the pharynx. The cells have the type B glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase.

Subculturing Procedure: Split sub-confluent cultures (70-80%) 1:2 to 1:4 i.e. seeding at 3-5×10000 cells/cm² using 0.25% trypsin; 5% CO2; 37°C.
