Description
Description: Derived from the endometrium tissue from the uterus of a 21-28 day-old Sprague-Dawley rat, transformed with a ts mutant of SV40 T antigen (tsA58). Cells express vimentin, CSF-1 (at 39°C), desmin, collagen type III and connexin 43.

Subculturing Procedure: Split sub-confluent cultures (70-80%) 1:3 i.e. seeding at 3×10, 000 cells/cm² using 0.25% trypsin/EDTA; 5% CO2; 34°C. Doubling time 48 hours. Cells show continuous growth at 34°C and growth arrest at 39°C.
