Description
Description: Used for the isolation of water borne viruses e.g. polio 1,2,3, Echo 3,6,7,9,12,27, Coxsackie A9 + B1,2, 3 and Reo 1.

Growth Medium: EMEM (EBSS) + 2mM Glutamine + 1% Non Essential Amino Acids (NEAA) + 10% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS).
Subculturing Procedure: Split sub-confluent cultures (70-80%) 1:8 to 1:20 i.e. seeding at 5×1,000 to 2×10, 000 cells/cm² using 0.25% trypsin or trypsin/EDTA; 5% CO2; 37°C.
Release Conditions: Yes – CITES (Convention on the International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora) licence required for all orders outside the European Union
