Description
Description: RAT-2 was derived from a subclone of a 5′-bromo-deoxyuridine (BUdR)-resistant strain of the Fischer rat 3T3-like cell line RAT-1. RAT-2 lacks appreciable levels of nuclear thymidine kinase, is highly transfectable by exogenous DNA and is phenotypically normal.
