Description
Description: RCC BA85#21 (ELTHEM) is a renal tumour cell line which was established from a primary tumour in a 62 year-old male patient with a clear cell carcinoma. The tumour tissue of the primary lesion was composed principally of clear cells with alveolar/tubular arrangement. The immunogenicity of the RCC BA85#21 (ELTHEM) cell line has been experimentally proven by in vitro stimulation under autologous and allogeneic conditions using dentritic cells loaded with cell lysate, cytotoxic assay and by the Elispot technique. Characterisation of RCC BA85#21 (ELTHEM) by phenotypic and molecular assays such as cytochemistry, flow cytometry, microarray analysis Real-Time PCR microsatellite instability and loss of heterozygosity is described.
