Description: Established from lung tissue of a 71 year old male with pancreatic carcinoma and neoplastic invasion of the spleen and stomach and a mild case of emphysema. The cells can undergo up to 20 population doublings. Ethnicity: Black.

Subculturing Procedure: Split sub-confluent cultures (70-80%) 1:2 to 1:3 i.e. seeding at 2-4×10000 cells/cm² using 0.25% trypsin or trypsin/EDTA; 5% CO2; 37°C.
