Description
Description: Derived from the lung of an adult female bat. Rabies virus produces CPE in this cell line. The cells have been demonstrated to propagate for 20 more passages beyond passage 69.

Subculturing Procedure: Split sub-confluent cultures (70-80%) 1:2 to 1:8 i.e. seeding at 2-4×10000 cells/cm² using 0.25% trypsin/EDTA; 5% CO2; 37°C.
